Ruben Reza is a Los Angeles-based session guitarist whose reputation is built on Ruben Reza is a Los Angeles-based session guitarist whose reputation is built on versatility, melodic flair, and strong professionalism. He started playing guitar at age 14, quickly joined his first band within a few weeks and hasn’t stopped since.

Over the years he built a diverse recording and performance résumé across styles such as rock, country, rockabilly, funk, latin, pop, blues and soundtrack work. Ruben has worked with members of The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Chicago, Bullet Boys and Strunz & Farah, to name a few.

He’s performed to stadium audiences of 63,000 and has shared the stage with major artists such as David Sanborn, Allan Holdsworth, Coco Montoya and Eric Gales. He even got a callback from an Ozzy Osbourne audition, and was guitar teacher to a Grammy Award winning artist.

In addition, Ruben has given guitar clinics at NAMM, produced product review videos and writes and records with his personal projects - The Ruben Reza Group and East Angel. These serve as a creative outlet for composition, arrangement, production and just plain rockin’ out!
